Dr. Yihao Zhang serves as an R&D Scientist at Plantswitch, bringing expertise in synthetic biology. He completed his B.S. in Life Sciences and a Ph.D. in Biophysics at Peking University, where his research centered on synthetic biology theory and component development. As a prolific researcher, he has authored multiple first-author publications in ACS Synthetic Biology. In his current role at Plantswitch, Dr. Zhang leads efforts in working with industrial partners in scaling up, commercializing bio-tech materials, in particular PHA material production, as well as ensuring its successful delivery
