Dr. Shuobing Chen is an R&D Scientist at Plantswitch with an outstanding academic background. He earned his B.S. in both Chemistry and Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Peking University. His research continued as a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University Medical School, where he focused on protein structure studies. Dr. Chen has a strong publication record, including first-author papers in prestigious journals such as Science and ACS Synthetic Biology. With a strong background in chemistry and biology, he is responsible for the development of compounding, formulating and processing of bio-tech materials, in particular PHA-related formulations and materials.
